Add Your First Product
List a product, set prices and stock, set up payouts, and publish it so customers can buy on Ordafy Shop.
In a nutshell
Before you begin
Ordafy Business is where you manage your catalogue, customers, orders, and payments. Before you add a product, check your business name, contact details, currency, and customer-facing information in Settings.
Step 1: Add the product
- Open Catalogue, then Products.
- Choose Add product.
- Enter a name customers will recognise and describe exactly what they receive.
- Choose the most relevant category and add useful search terms.
Step 2: Set options and prices
Add variants when customers need to choose a size, colour, quantity, or package. Give each option the correct price and stock level. Check Pricing when working out your margin.
Step 3: Add product photos
- Use a bright, uncluttered cover image.
- Show the real item from several angles.
- Include scale, packaging, or contents where that helps customers decide.
Step 4: Set fulfilment and payments
Explain delivery, collection, or digital fulfilment clearly. Then open Settings → Payouts & settlements and complete the payment setup offered in your market — either Stripe Connect or Paystack.
Step 5: Review and publish
Preview the listing as a customer. Check spelling, prices, stock, and fulfilment details, then publish and share its Shop link. Customers can browse from Shop.
Frequently asked questions
Should I create a product or a service?
Use a product for physical or digital goods. Use a service when customers need to choose an appointment time.
Can I prepare listings before payment setup is complete?
Yes. You can draft your catalogue first, but card sales may remain unavailable until your payout provider approves your account.
