Calendar Sync: Connecting Your External Calendars

Learn how to sync your service calendar with Google Calendar or iCal to automatically block dates and manage availability.

Introduction

Calendar sync allows you to automatically manage your service's availability by connecting external calendars. This ensures your service calendar stays up to date without manual intervention.

Google Calendar Sync

Setting Up Google Calendar Sync

  1. Go to your service's calendar settings
  2. Click "Connect Google Calendar"
  3. Authorize Ordafy to access your Google Calendar
  4. Select which calendar to sync
  5. Choose sync direction (Import, Export, or Bidirectional)

How It Works

  • Import: Events in your Google Calendar automatically block dates in Ordafy
  • Export: Bookings in Ordafy automatically create products in Google Calendar
  • Bidirectional: Both directions sync automatically

Sync Frequency

Calendar sync runs automatically every 15 minutes. You can also manually trigger a sync at any time.

iCal URL Sync

Setting Up iCal Sync

  1. Get your iCal URL from your calendar provider
  2. Go to your service's calendar settings
  3. Click "Add iCal URL"
  4. Paste your iCal URL
  5. Save the configuration
