Set Up Payments and Payouts in Ordafy

Why setup is required

Ordafy uses a supported payment provider to accept eligible customer payments and settle funds to your bank. Depending on your market, Business will guide you through Stripe Connect or Paystack.

What to prepare

• Your legal business or personal trading details.
• Government-issued identity documents for the authorised representative.
• Registration and ownership information where your business type requires it.
• A bank account that meets the provider’s local requirements.
• An Owner, Admin, or authorised Finance teammate to complete the checks.

Step 1: Start in Ordafy Business

1. Open Settings → Payouts & settlements.
2. Select Start setup or Continue setup.
3. Follow the Stripe Connect or Paystack form shown for your market.
4. Enter information exactly as it appears on your legal and bank records.
5. Submit any requested documents and wait for the status to update.

Step 2: Complete verification

Your provider may ask for identity, address, ownership, business activity, phone, email, or bank verification. Requests vary by country and business type. Return to the same Settings area if more information is needed.

Step 3: Confirm selling tools

After approval, check an eligible Shop checkout, then open Tools, then POS or Pay, if you use in-person sales or payment links. Availability depends on market and device support.

Step 4: Follow your money

Open Payouts to review pending, available, and paid amounts. Compare settlements with Financials, Orders, Bookings, POS sales, refunds, and provider fees.

Common delays

• Names or addresses do not match official records.
• A document is expired, unclear, or incomplete.
• Ownership or business activity information is missing.
• The bank account does not meet local provider requirements.
• The provider is carrying out an additional review.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose Stripe Connect or Paystack myself?

Ordafy presents the provider supported for your market and business setup. Follow the option shown in Settings.

Can I create my catalogue while verification is pending?

Yes. You can prepare listings, but do not promise a card payment method until Business shows it is ready.

Why is my first payout taking longer?

New accounts, weekends, bank processing, refunds, reserves, or additional checks can affect timing. Use Payouts for the latest status.
