Payments & payouts
Last updated: 27 March 2026
Scope
This page summarises how payments work across the Ordafy ecosystem (including Ordafy Shop, Ordafy Business, and Ordafy Pay) where card payments are processed through our platform. Product-specific checkout pages may add detail; Ordafy Shop’s payments & payouts page describes the same model in a shop-focused form, and Ordafy Pay’s payments & payouts page covers payment links and Stripe Checkout on pay.ordafy.com.
Who you pay
When you buy a product or service from a seller on Ordafy Shop, your contract for that purchase is with the seller (the provider), not with Ordafy Limited as the supplier of those goods or services. Ordafy operates the marketplace and related software. Other products (e.g. events, subscriptions) may have a different counterparty; see the relevant product terms at checkout.
Card payments and Stripe
Card payments are processed by Stripe, a regulated payment services provider. You may be asked to accept Stripe's terms where required for your payment. Ordafy uses Stripe Connect so that eligible amounts can be settled to sellers according to our platform rules and the seller's payout setup. We do not store full card numbers or CVV on Ordafy servers.
Settlement and payouts to sellers
Depending on order or booking type, funds may be released to the seller's connected Stripe account after conditions are met (for example fulfilment and refund windows). Sellers move money from Stripe to their bank through their Stripe account and payout settings. Timing can depend on Stripe, the seller's bank, and compliance checks.
Fees
Processing and platform fees may apply as described at checkout, in booking flows, and in our Terms of Service.
Refunds and disputes
Refunds and chargebacks are handled according to the seller's policies, our Refund Policy, applicable law, and card scheme rules. Stripe facilitates the money movement for refunds where applicable.
