Payments
What payment methods can customers use?
It depends on the seller and the customer's market. Checkout may offer cards, supported digital wallets, payment links, cash, or bank transfer. Customers only see the methods available for that purchase.
Pricing
How much does Ordafy cost?
You can start selling without a commerce subscription. Payment processing fees vary by market and method, and sales found through Ordafy Marketplace include a 2.5% marketplace commission. Optional plans add more locations, storage, and advanced tools. See the Pricing page for current details.
Orders & Bookings
Can I get a refund for an order or booking?
Refunds follow the merchant's policy shown before you pay. Open the order or booking and ask the merchant for help. If you cannot reach them or something is wrong, contact Ordafy support with your reference.
Can I transfer an order or booking to someone else?
Only if the merchant allows transfers. Open the order or booking, choose Transfer, and enter the recipient's details. If you do not see that option, ask the merchant.
What happens if my order or booking is cancelled?
Ordafy notifies you using the contact details on the order. Any refund follows the merchant's policy. We are still processing approved refunds until the money is on its way to your original payment method — that can take several working days. Contact the merchant first if it is delayed.
How do I collect an order or attend a booking?
Check your confirmation for the collection address, appointment details, or online instructions. Bring the confirmation or QR code if one was provided — the merchant may scan it or ask for your order reference.
Where can I find my orders and bookings?
Sign in with the account you used at checkout, then open Orders for purchases and Bookings for appointments. Your confirmation email also has the reference and key details.
How do I contact a merchant?
Use Ask a question on the listing or storefront when it is available, or the contact option on the order or booking. Include your reference for paid purchases. For platform help, visit /help.
How do I find products and services near me?
Visit Ordafy Marketplace and search by name or category. Use location filters when available, and check each listing for its collection point, service area, or appointment location.
For Providers
Can I list a free product?
Yes. Set the price to zero when you create the product in Catalogue. Check the checkout and fulfilment settings before you publish so customers know how they will receive it.
How do I promote a product or service?
Open the item in Catalogue and use Share to copy its link or QR code. Use Marketing for promotions, add Ordafy to your website, and leave Ask a question on so interest shows up in Leads. Keep photos, prices, and policies up to date.
Can I offer recurring products or services?
Yes, when repeat or multi-session options are available for that listing type. Set the schedule, price, capacity, and customer terms in Catalogue before you publish.
What can I sell on Ordafy?
Supported physical or digital products, tickets, and bookable services. Listings must follow Ordafy's terms and the laws in every market where you sell. Restricted or prohibited items cannot be listed.
How do I add product options such as size or colour?
Open the product in Catalogue and add its options or variants. Set the right price, stock, and reference for each one, then save and publish.
Can I create discount codes?
Yes, where discounts are available for your plan and sales channel. Open Marketing, create a code, choose what it applies to, and set any dates or usage limits. Test the code before you share it.
How do I get paid as a merchant?
In Ordafy Business, open Settings → Payouts & settlements and complete payout setup for your organisation. Card sales are processed through Stripe Connect or Paystack, depending on your market. That page shows your balance, any checks that need attention, and transfers to your bank.
What happens when I refund a customer?
You fund the customer refund from your available balance. Ordafy’s platform fee on that sale is generally not returned. If there is not enough available balance yet, the refund can wait until there is — track it in Financials → Refunds. Customers see simple progress updates only.
Can I connect Ordafy to other tools?
Start with the integrations under Settings and Tools. Enterprise customers can ask about custom integrations, and Ordafy Web Services can help with a bespoke build when the ready-made options do not fit.
What is the Getting Started checklist?
The checklist on Home helps you finish your business profile, complete payout setup, and publish your first listing. Complete the steps shown so card payments and marketplace selling are available in your market.
Can I record cash or bank payments before payout setup is complete?
Yes. You can record a cash or bank-transfer payment after you have actually received it. Card checkout, Tap to Pay, and payment links need completed payout setup. Recording a payment does not move money through Ordafy.
Why is my active listing not visible on Ordafy Marketplace?
An active listing can still be hidden from Marketplace if your storefront is not public, payout setup is incomplete, required listing details are missing, or the item is unavailable. Check the notice on the listing and complete the action shown.
Does Ordafy need to approve every card payout?
No. Customer card payments are processed through Stripe Connect or Paystack, depending on your market, and follow your payout schedule. Open Settings → Payouts & settlements to see account checks, balances, and bank-transfer status.
Security
Is my payment information secure?
Card payments are handled by the payment provider for your market, such as Stripe Connect or Paystack. Ordafy does not show merchants your full card number. Use a strong password and turn on two-factor authentication for extra account protection.
Privacy
How is my personal information used?
Ordafy uses the information needed to run your account, process purchases, prevent fraud, and provide support. Merchants get the details they need to fulfil orders or bookings, plus any questions you send via Ask a question. See the Privacy Policy for your rights.
Service Management
How do I book a service?
Open the service on Ordafy Marketplace, choose an available date or time, enter the details requested, and pay any amount due. Check the confirmation for the location, joining instructions, and cancellation policy.
How do I list my service on Ordafy?
In Ordafy Business, open Catalogue, add a service, and enter its price, duration, location, availability, photos, and policies. Publish when you are ready. See View guide
What fees apply to service bookings?
Payment processing fees vary by market and method. A booking found through Ordafy Marketplace can also include the 2.5% marketplace commission. Check the Pricing page and the sale details for the current fees.
How do I check when a service is available?
Open the service listing and pick a date to see available times. If nothing suitable shows up, use the listing's contact option to ask the merchant.
What happens after I book a service?
You get a confirmation with the time, location or online instructions, amount paid, and merchant policy. Keep the reference handy and contact the merchant if you need to change anything.
When do merchants receive money from a booking?
Payment and bank payout timing depend on the sales channel, market, account checks, and the merchant's payout schedule. Merchants can open Settings → Payouts & settlements in Ordafy Business to see balances and transfer status.
Can I cancel a service booking?
Open the booking and choose Cancel if the merchant's policy allows it. If that option is not available, contact the merchant. Any refund depends on the policy you accepted when you booked.
How do I manage service availability?
In Ordafy Business, open Bookings and manage the service's availability. Set working hours, unavailable dates, notice periods, and time between bookings. See View guide if you also use an external calendar.
Can a service have different prices?
Yes. Open the service in Catalogue and add the pricing options customers can choose. Make each option clear — what is included and any extra charges.
How do service reviews work?
After an eligible completed booking, the customer may be invited to leave a rating and review. Reviews must follow Ordafy's rules. Merchants should reply professionally and contact support if a review looks abusive or unrelated.
What should I include in a service listing?
Clear photos, a simple description, what is included, duration, location, price, availability, and cancellation terms. Tell customers what to bring or do before the appointment.
Can I book a service for more than one date?
Yes, if the merchant offers a multi-session option — choose the available sessions during booking. Otherwise, make a separate booking for each date.

Why am I being asked to verify again or enter a security PIN?
Ordafy asks for an extra check before sensitive actions, such as changing security or payout details. Follow the prompt and never share your PIN or verification code. If you are locked out, wait for the time shown or contact support.

Paid features usually stay available until the end of the current billing period. After that, lower plan limits apply and some advanced features may become unavailable. Review affected locations, storage, and exports before you confirm.
Can I manage my plan on a phone?
